Wanda Strukus’s theater and dance projects have appeared in theaters, galleries, parks and abandoned buildings throughout New England, and she has collaborated with The Revolving Museum, The Yellow Springs Theater Company, Shakespeare in the Valley, Artists for World Peace, Riverside Theatre Works, Another Country, Chamber Theatre Productions, Salem Theater Company, Babes with Blades, Chicago Women’s Theatre Alliance, Theatre Kapow, and others. As a co-founder of Two Roads Performance Projects, she co-produced and curated the award-winning site-specific dance festival, Dance in the Fells, and supports, curates and creates public art projects and community-engaged works across a wide range of media. Her plays have been produced by companies in Boston, Chicago, Tucson, Kalamazoo, Ruston, and Yellow Springs, and published by Dramatic Publishing and Grain Magazine. As artistic director of Come On Over Ensemble Theater, she is committed to the creation of new, ensemble-generated work, with and without text. She is an alumna of the Jacob’s Pillow Choreographer/Director Lab, a recipient of a Green Street Studios Emerging Artist Award, has served on the Medford Arts Council, and is the Program Director for the BFA in Contemporary Theater at The Boston Conservatory. Strukus performs and collaborates with Daniel McCusker Dance Projects.
