Meet the Choreographers:

JOHN KRAMER is an artist and
graphic designer. His most recent solo exhibition, "Interesting and Dull
Shapes", at the University Hall Gallery at the Art Institute of Boston,
featured photographs, monotypes, and installation related to the Forest Hills
Cemetery. He currently runs his own design business, and is on the faculty of
The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University's Master of Fine Arts
program.

EGOART, Inc. (NICOLE PIERCE) is a
choreographer, dancer, and pianist. She is the artistic director of EgoArt,
Inc, a Boston-based dance theater company she founded in 1999. She serves
also on the dance faculty of Green Street Studios in Cambridge, MA.

SARA
SMITH is a choreographer, designer & archivist. Her choreography,
installations and designs have been seen and heard at The Brooklyn Museum,
Catch!, Danspace Project, Dixon Place, Green Street Studios, Joyce SoHo,
SPACE Gallery, St. Ann’s Warehouse, and the St. Lawrence Arts Center.
She holds an MFA in Dance from Sarah Lawrence College.

JOAN GREEN co-founded and
co-directed Back Porch Dance Company, an intergenerational women’s
company (1990-2001). Her choreography has been supported by the
Cambridge Arts Council, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the LEF
Foundation, and the Boston Foundation. She has performed with the Elders
Ensemble of Prometheus Dance and with Daniel McCusker. She currently directs
and performs with Back Pocket Dancers.

MONKEYHOUSE is
an award winning, Boston-based nonprofit that connects communities to
choreography. Founded in 2000 by Artistic Director Karen Krolak and Voted
"Best Dance Company in Boston" for 2006 & 2007 by the Boston
Phoenix Readers' Poll, Monkeyhouse regularly performs at the Cambridge
Multicultural Arts Center and First Night Boston.
